I am an aspiring twenty-two-year-old writer out of Alexandria, Virginia with a soft spot for languages, dusty garages, and classic literature. Other things I like include cleaning, changing my ‘look,’ collecting old stuff, getting outdoors on my bike, and singing around the house. Big Faulkner fan.
I am a double major in Creative Writing and French at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, where I have gone on four hiking trails and hope to go on more. In 2018 I was the first place recipient of my university’s Undergraduate Creative Writing Prize for Fiction. My writing is often inspired by my experiences and those of my family, other times by the deliciously provocative plastic-bag-dancing-in-the-wind moments of life.
